The Jersey Hedge Veg project is a non-profit venture promoting the sale of fresh local produce in Jersey by small independent vendors. We do not rent or sell your Personal Information to anyone. We may share and disclose information (including Personal Information) about our members with third party suppliers, consultants and other technical service providers who we employ to perform tasks on our behalf. How long do we retain your information for?

We regularly check our databases to make sure that information that has been supplied to us is up to date and as accurate as possible.

If you have been a member at any time, we will retain your information for as long as we have an on-going relationship and thereafter for as long as we are required by law to retain the information, which is generally ten years post the end of the relationship. Thereafter the information will be destroyed without further notice.

What choices do I have?

You can always opt out to disclose information to us, but keep in mind some information may be needed to become a member.

Marketing Communications

You can opt-out of receiving certain marketing communications from us at any time, by using the unsubscribe link in the emails communications we send or by contacting us via the messaging channels on our social media platforms. If you are an active member, we will still send you non-promotional communications, like password reset requests.

How can I update and access my information?

We provide members their own login with the opportunity to access, review, update, and delete any Personal Information we hold about them. You can contact us via the messaging channels on our social media platforms if you would like your profile deleted. Please note that if you are an active member your profile is necessary.

If you ask us to delete your information, we will use our best efforts to promptly delete all of your Personal Information and cease any use thereof, provided that nothing in this Privacy Policy shall prevent us from using any aggregated and de-identified Personal Information that does not identify any individual. Please note that we may also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
